this AKBB smoothie is the perfect way to start your day. it is healthy, filling, tastes like a treat, and easy to take with you on-the-go! i have this for breakfast almost every morning, but it is also great after a workout or for an afternoon snack.

i love making this AKBB smoothie using my nutribullet because it’s extremely powerful, so it blends the smoothie into the best consistency in seconds. plus, you blend it right in the cup–why create more dishes than necessary?! easy clean-up & delicious, healthful breakfast all-in-one!

you will see in my recipe that i use a certain fiber & protein powder. you could certainly make the recipe without them, or use different brands depending on what you like.

i also like to freeze my bananas. we are just 2 people at home, so who eats an entire bunch of bananas before they rot? if you just slice them up and throw them in a freezer-safe ziploc, they stay good for a long time. plus, i think the consistency when the bananas are frozen and then whipped up is similar to ice cream. which, is obviously awesome. drink up!
